Corporate Wellness Platform
Employee wellness is no longer a “nice to have”. It’s a strategic priority for organizations aiming to improve productivity, retention, and overall health outcomes. Yet, many wellness programs struggle with disconnected tools, generic dashboards, and limited data visibility across stakeholders.
Our client, a vitality service provider for companies in the Netherlands, wanted to change this. They envisioned a comprehensive platform that unifies employees, employers, coaches, and physicians in a single digital ecosystem bridging the gap between wellness tracking, coaching, and actionable insights.
Requirements
The client aimed to build a comprehensive corporate wellness platform that offers multi-role access for employees, employers, coaches, and physicians, each with personalized dashboards. The platform needed to support automated health tracking for vitals, activities, and wellness metrics, integrate AI-driven lifestyle coaching for behavior insights and recommendations, and provide employers with analytics dashboards to measure program ROI and engagement. It also required an automated assessment engine with smart summary generation for medical review, along with a scalable foundation to support wellness program management and future AI integrations.
Challenges
The client had already been using an off-the-shelf SaaS solution that covered about 60% of their needs. However, the core user experience, especially the main dashboard, was clunky, rigid, and difficult to extend.
They needed a platform that not only performed the functions but also felt right:
- A dashboard that mirrored how their teams thought about wellness data.
- A flexible architecture that could grow with their vision.
- A system that offered proactive, data-driven insights instead of static reports.
Approach and Solutions
When the client shared their frustration, our AI team quickly turned the concept into something tangible. Using low-code tools and AI-assisted prototyping, we built a few modules and a functional dashboard in under two hours. The working prototype aligned with their idea of how a wellness dashboard should look and function.
The prototype featured:
- Clean, intuitive layouts tailored to each user role.
- Interactive health tracking cards with live metrics.
- Automatic alerts when health indicators fell below targets—an enhancement that wasn’t in the original brief but immediately resonated.
That quick prototype demonstrated more than just technical capability. It showed understanding. The client saw that we grasped the logic behind their product, not just the features. The meeting shifted from defining requirements to exploring possibilities. As their CEO said, “This is exactly what I needed. Just give me this.”
